We wish the best to the Archery team as they shoot in the Regional Tournament on Saturday.

Congratulations to Aidan Cain on winning the district spelling bee.  Aidan will now compete at the State Spelling Bee in Louisville.

Auditions for the spring musical will be next Tuesday, February 9^th after school. See Ms. Hunt or Ms. Smith for an information sheet and permission form.

There will be a Valentine’s Day dance on February 12^th.  Tickets will be $3 each. Concessions will be available.

Studies have shown that artwork in the healthcare setting have direct benefits to patients during the healing process. With this in mind, the Cancer Care center at Rockcastle Hospital would like to display some artwork from RCMS students.  Students who submit artwork will be in a drawing for a $25 Wal-mart card. Students can see Mrs. Cromer for the necessary registration form and paper.

Volleyball tryouts will begin next week.  Monday will be for all 6^th graders and for 7^th and 8^th graders who have not played before.  Tuesday will be for 7^th and 8^th graders who have played before.  Students must have an up-to-date sports physical.
