Congratulations to the RCMS Academic Team for winning the District Championship on Friday, January 29th. The Quick Recall team went undefeated and finished in first place and will move on to the Region tournament in two weeks. The Future Problem Solving Team finished in second place and will also move on to Region.
The following students placed in individual written assessment and will compete at Region along with the Quick Recall and FPS teams:
- In Math, Jonathan Cain placed second and Drew Bullock placed first.
- IN Science, Granville Graves placed fourth and Jonathan Cain placed first.
- In Social Studies, Brooklyn Young placed fifth, Drew Bullock placed fourth, and Brexton Cromer placed third.
- In Language Arts, Audrey Childress placed third and Kristen Taylor placed first.
- In Arts and Humanities, Ellie Robinson placed third and Aden Amburgey placed first.
- And in Written Composition, Elizabeth Mikeworth placed fourth.
